Important Update: California Title 24 Pool Heater Mandate (Effective Jan 1, 2026)

New permits starting Jan 1, 2026 must use heat pumps/solar (or qualifying renewable/recovered energy systems) as the primary pool heater. Gas can remain as backup in compliant designs.
